The Great Train Robbery Train Show at the Domes

The annual model train show is taking place at the Mitchell Park Domes through the end of March 2017. The Domes always feature the trains between the holiday floral show and the spring floral show. It’s a lot of fun and just perfect for winter and early spring when we’re all looking for something to do outside of the house that doesn’t involve freezing outdoors. The theme for the current train show is The Great Train Robbery. They decked out the entire dome in an old West theme. I love it.

Not a Creature Was Stirring Holiday Floral Show at the Domes

The holiday floral show, Not a Creature Was Stirring, is taking place at the Mitchell Park Domes through early January 2017. The domes always do a fabulous job putting together their seasonal shows. The 16-17 holiday floral show is no exception. For the theme, Not a Creature Was Stirring, they placed lots of little animals among the Christmas trees and other holiday decorations. Really cute.

The 16-17 Holiday Floral Show runs through early January 2017. The Mitchell Park Domes are always free on Monday mornings from 9:00 a.m.-noon except major holidays for Milwaukee County residents. Consult the website for more details about current hours and admission.

Fall Harvest Festival Floral Show at the Domes

The Fall Harvest Festival floral show is taking place at the Mitchell Park Domes through early November 2016. The domes always do a fabulous job putting together their seasonal shows. The current show is no exception.

The Domes reopened the Tropical Dome last month. I have dozens and dozens of pictures of the Tropical Dome, but of course, I couldn’t resist taking a few more.

The waterfall in the Tropical Domes is one of my all-time favorite spots in Milwaukee.

The Fall Harvest Festival show runs through Sunday, November 6. The Mitchell Park Domes are always free on Monday mornings from 9:00 a.m.-noon except major holidays for Milwaukee County residents. Due to the continued limited Domes access, general admission is just $5 until all three domes reopen. Children age 5 and under get in for free.
