Photography Inspiration

It’s been ages since I last put together a general photography inspiration post (the last one was in March!). I’ve been way overdue to put together another one. Since I started this blog, I’ve talked on multiple occasions about how following amazing photographers and studying stunning images is critical for improving your own photography skills. From beginner smartphone photographers to professional DSLR photographers, looking at great photos on a regular basis helps you become a better photographer.

Since 2013/2014, my single favorite way to follow great photographers has been Instagram. Despite many recent frustrations with Instagram, it remains the simplest, most effective way to process a staggering number of images each week. But, not surprisingly, I also spend a lot of time on Pinterest, more so than ever since I started this blog. There is so much great photography on Pinterest as well. Having another resource filled with gorgeous images is so helpful for keeping my creativity flowing.

Photography Inspiration

Last month, I finally started a general Photography Inspiration board on Pinterest. Since I started this blog, I’ve talked a couple of different times about how important it is to follow amazing photographers and study stellar photos on a regular basis. From novice smartphone photographers to experienced DSLR photographers, studying the best in the field is critical for bettering your photography skills.

For several years now, my single favorite way to follow great photographers has been Instagram. I have yet to find a simpler, more effective way to process dozens of stunning images every single week. But I also spend a lot of time on Pinterest, more so than ever since I started this blog. There is a wealth of fantastic photography on Pinterest as well. Having another resource brimming with stunning images is so helpful for keeping my creativity flowing.

I shared my first selection of stunning photos I’ve rounded up on Pinterest over here. Today I’m back sharing another round of wonderful images. As always, you can right click on the photos to see (and save) them on Pinterest. I also have all of the Pinterest links at the end of the post.

Photography Inspiration

I’ve been way overdue to start a general Photography Inspiration board on Pinterest. I’ve talked a couple of different times on this blog about the importance of following great photographers and studying great photography. Whether you’re brand new to photography and shoot exclusively with your phone or you’re a seasoned photographer who’s been shooting with a DSLR for years, studying great photography is critical for improving your skills.

My single favorite way to follow great photographers is Instagram. I cannot recommend Instagram enough if you want to process dozens of fantastic images every single week. But I also spend a lot of time on Pinterest, more so than ever now that I have this blog, and there is a ton of great photography on Pinterest as well. Having another resource chock full of stunning images is so helpful for keeping my creativity flowing.

I’m sharing just a selection of the stunning photos I’ve rounded up on Pinterest since I started the new Photography Inspiration board earlier this month. As always, you can right click on the photos to see them on Pinterest. I also have all of the Pinterest links at the end of the post.
