How do I contact you for a freelance writing job?
I provide extensive detail about the type of freelance writing work I do over here. I am always interested in working with new clients. If you believe you have a project that would be a good fit for me, please contact me.
What type of camera equipment do you use?
Currently I shoot with a Canon Rebel t4i and the following Canon lenses: 24-105mm f/4L, 70-200mm f/4, 50mm f/1.8, and 100mm f/2.8 L. You can learn more about the camera equipment and other photography tools (i.e. backdrops, lights) I use on my resources page.
Can I use your photos?
I really appreciate when people use my photos to share my content. If you use one of my photos, please provide a link back to the original post. Do not ever copy large portions of text (i.e. a set of DIY instructions, an entire recipe) or whole sets of photos and post them on your own blog. Reposting content in this fashion hurts my search results, which isn’t nice. Please share responsibly. Thanks!
How can I share my pictures with you?
I love to see people using my photography tips, making my DIY projects, trying my cleaning advice, etc. Taking the time to share your photos with me really means a lot. If you have a picture that you’d like me to see, please tag it #RoseClearfield on Instagram or share it on my Facebook page.
I tagged you in an Instagram photo and you never liked it! Why not?
If you tag @randomcreativeart in your Instagram post, but your Instagram account is private, I won’t see the post. The best way to ensure I see your post is to tag it #RoseClearfield. I review the hashtag periodically and do my best to check out all of the posts.
What happened to your content from your Randomcreativeart blog?
All of the content I wrote for Randomcreativeart is still there. It isn’t going anywhere any time soon. I decided not to move it to the new blog for two reasons.
- My blogging goals have changed significantly since I started Randomcreativeart back in late 2008, and a lot of the content doesn’t fit with my current goals.
- The vast majority of the content on Randomcreativeart is not evergreen and would not benefit from a superior blogging program and monetization.
If you’re looking for something I posted on Randomcreativeart, head over to the site and use the search function at the top of the site or send me a message.
Can I write a guest post for your site?
I do not plan on having a lot of guest posts on this site. In the rare event I do have a guest post, most likely I will choose the guest poster myself. You may reach out to me about guest posting, but keep in mind it’s unlikely I’ll accept a random pitch.
Can I send you a product to review on your site?
I only review products that I would use myself and that I believe are fitting with the content of this blog. For example, photography gear is a great fit for this site. Eyeglasses are not a great fit for the site. Please consider the content and nature of the blog before contacting me with a product review offer.
Can I advertise on this site?
I do consider all potential advertising opportunities and am open to taking new advertisers that I believe are a good fit for my blog. If you’d like to discuss an advertising opportunity, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
What happens to the contact information you collect for your sign up list?
When you sign up to receive notifications for new posts, I collect your email address. I do not use this information for anything except the Mailchimp RSS to email feature, which allows subscribers to receive these notifications automatically. I will never share your contact information with anyone else or use it for any other purposes.
Why do you use affiliate links on your blog?
Affiliate links are a simple way for me to earn a percentage of product sales and service signups for products and services I truly believe in and use myself. I will never promote items with affiliate links that I don’t love. Using these links is a simple way to support my blog without costing you anything extra. I always disclose my affiliate links and really appreciate you using them.
If I haven’t answered your question here or you need further clarification about anything, please feel free to send me an email.
