Today I’m continuing my Mediterranean cruise tour with Pisa, Italy. (It’s been a minute since my last tour post because I’ve been slacking on my editing. Many apologies.) My post about Pisa is short and sweet because our time in Pisa was just that: short and sweet.
We had a single day to see Florence and Pisa. As we’d never been to either city, we decided to see both, which is…a lot. And it means that you don’t get a ton of time in either city. We’re glad that we saw Pisa, but we would have loved more time in Florence. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get back there someday. For now, I hope you enjoy this tiny tour of Pisa and its crazy Leaning Tower.
Our tour didn’t include an interior tour of the Leaning Tower. However, interior tours of the Tower are available as well as of the Cathedral, Baptistery and Camposanto, and Sinopie Museum. As always, if you’re interested in an interior tour of the Leaning Tower or any other ticketed structure in Pisa, I highly recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time. Popular European tourist destinations are busy all year round, and you are never guaranteed day-of entry without purchasing tickets ahead of time. Plan ahead, so you don’t miss out on any bucket list tours.
Next up: the French Riviera. Stay tuned!
