Under the Sea (the official name is Fathoms Below) is a fun, colorful theme for the summer floral show at the Mitchell Park Domes.
Inspired by the ocean depths, colorful fish make their way around plants resembling those you’d find on the ocean floor. The exhibit features a selection of vivid coleus and bright succulents, surrounding decorative coral reef and a sunken ship. As always, there are lots of fun details, such as pirate treasure and fish netting drapped over the foot bridge.
Tommy always enjoys visiting the Domes.
Fathoms Below runs from June 1-September 8, 2019. Put in on your calendar! The Domes makes for a fun outing with kids, who are sure to love the colorful under the sea theme.
Milwaukee County residents get in free at the Mitchell Park Domes the first Thursday of every month, except major holidays. Consult the website for more details about current hours, admission, and upcoming special events.
