Today I’m continuing my Mediterranean cruise tour with my final shots of Barcelona. We had two full days in Barcelona. We spent the majority of the first day at the Sagrada Familia, touring both the exterior and interior of the spectacular sculpture. Our longer tour that first day and then our shorter tour the second day covered a few other areas of the city as well. I’m sharing the remainder of my Barcelona shots today. Barcelona is such a fabulous city. We barely scratched the surface during our two days and would love to come back.

It’s no secret that I love golden hour, especially in the summer.  I really enjoy living by Lake Michigan and admiring its beauty all year round. But there is something about summer golden hour that is truly magical. Even when you get soft light on the water other times of the year, it isn’t quite the same. In summer, the whole atmosphere changes for an hour or so. I look forward to it every single night. The Bristol Renaissance Faire is one of my favorite events of the summer, and really, of the entire year. It’s something that we look forward to and talk about months in advance. Last year we left two week old Tommy with his grandparents, which worked out for the best because it rained a fair amount. This year at 13 months old, we knew that he’d enjoy it a lot more.
