How can you go wrong shopping at Nordstrom for Christmas? Even when you’re shopping for the pickiest people on your list, you’re sure to find something they’ll love at Nordstrom. I’ve rounded up my favorite Nordstrom gift ideas for her.
The Madewell Whisper Cotton V-Neck Pocket Tee. This pocket t-shirt is such a classic staple piece that you’ll find yourself reaching for all the time. It’s so comfortable and extremely versatile. You can layer it (or not!) and dress it up or down for errands, work, girls’ night, etc. This shirt is such a fantastic value for the price point. It runs huge, so if you’re on the fence about the size, go down one size.
Bobeau Faux Wrap Knit Top. I love the concept of a genuine wrap top or dress but find that the reality of wearing wrap tops is always underwhelming. A faux wrap is much better. I love the fit and style of the Bobeau faux wrap knit top, and it’s available in three great neutrals.
Halogen Crewneck Cashmere Sweater. Nothing says luxurious Christmas gift quite like cashmere. Cashmere is an investment. As such, you want to choose classic cashmere pieces that will hold up well and not go out of style over a number of years. The crewneck design is timeless. I love the range of colors for the Halogen piece, too.
Caslon Plaid Shirt. A plaid shirt is such an underrated staple for the colder months of the year. Modern, feminine plaid shirts are so flattering and versatile. I love the fit and color palette of the Caslon plaid shirt.
KUT from the Kloth Diana Stretch Corduroy Skinny Pants. I feel like I’m in the minority here, but I love to add corduroy pants into the jeans rotation during winter for a little variation. It’s not a secret that I am not crazy about the skinny jean trend (bit of an understatement). But skinny cords work well with boots. I love this classic design and the range of neutrals offered.
Topshop Carly Coat. Last year Thread & Supply offered a double breasted peacoat that I love so much and would still be recommending if it were available. The Topshop Carly coat is the next best thing. I love that the single-button design and collar are a little dressy, instantly taking any outfit up a notch.
BLANKNYC Next Level Suede Moto Jacket. It’s hard to go wrong with a suede moto jacket. The BLANKNYC Next Level suede moto jacket is no exception. The cut is fabulous, and it comes in three great neutrals. This jacket will quickly become your go-to through the fall and spring months.
Steve Madden Dina Sandal. Steve Madden footwear is the best. They always offer the perfect mix of comfort and style, without breaking the bank. It’s so hard to find sandals that look this nice that don’t kill your feet. Thank you, Steve Madden, for coming to the rescue yet again. I love that the Dina sandal comes in a range of neutrals as well as a metallic: rose gold (so pretty). If you’re looking for a sandal with a block heel (as opposed to a flat sandal), I love the April and Irenee styles, too.
Hunter Original Tall Rain Boot. Hunter boots aren’t a unique gift idea at all, I know. But sometimes you have to go with the tried and true picks. There’s a reason that Hunter boots remain so popular. Nordstrom offers a great selection of them. Hunter boots run huge, so order down one size from your regular size.
Frye ‘Veronica Short’ Slouchy Boot. Frye boots are one of the total splurge items on this list. If you want to wow the woman in your life with something that she’s never going to spend on for herself, go for the Frye boots. The style here is killer. The color, buckles, and slightly weathered look all in one boot is to die for. And the height is shorter than most tall boots, which is a nice variation for your boot collection.
Nordstrom Butter Slipper Socks. Fuzzy socks are one of the best parts about winter. Butter socks are some of the softest socks I’ve ever felt in my life. Layer them with tights for chilly days outdoors or slip them on after work or on lazy weekend mornings for the ultimate comfort.
J.Crew Vintage Pajamas. I’ve tried the very popular Moonlight Pajamas and was really unimpressed because they’re completely seethrough. So I’m recommending the J.Crew Vintage Pajamas instead. Every women deserves to have at least one pair of really nice pajamas.
Kendra Scott Elisa Birthstone Pendant Necklace. As much as I love bold colorful jewelry (just check out my Etsy jewelry shop), I also love simple, understated jewelry, especially necklaces. Kendra Scott offers classic women’s jewelry style at its best, and this birthstone pendant necklace is no exception. It’s also available as a bracelet!
Kate Spade New York One in a Million Initial Pendant Necklace. I had to include one more simple, timeless necklace option in this gift guide. I’ve linked silver here, which I know will be more popular. But it also comes in gold.
Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette. Urban Decay offers exactly what you want in an eyeshadow palette but so rarely get. The range of colors is fabulous, with tons of shades you’ll actually use instead of just a couple. And they’re so easy to blend, again a feature you just don’t get with cheaper palettes. Naked Heat is very similar to my all-time favorite from Urban Decay, the now discontinued smoky palette. If you’re shopping for a super basic makeup gal, consider the Naked2 Basics Palette instead.
Kopari Coconut Crush Scrub. The Kopari scrub is the best sugar scrub I’ve ever used, hands down. It’s pricy but well worth the money, as one container will easily last you all year. The coconut smell is so nice, too, and not overly sweet. If sugar scrubs aren’t your thing, check out the other items in the Kopari line.
Kennebunk Bliss Plush Throw. The Cozy Chic throws and other high-end blankets that Nordstrom offers are amazing. But I just can’t justify that price point, especially with multiple pets and a toddler. The Kennebunk Bliss is still super soft. It’s also under $50 and is machine washable, making it the winner for the gift guide.
Anthropologie Rosie Set of 3 Journals. While not an expensive gift, a beautiful journal set is another item I am not likely to splurge on for myself but would love to receive. I like the flatlay construction and the colorful designs.
