Today I’m sharing a little recap of Tommy’s first birthday, mainly the quick trip that we took to the Wisconsin Dells. The three of us got away for two nights, one full day the week of his birthday. It was brief, but honestly, just about perfect for a one-year-old.

Tommy turned one year old on July 11, 2018. The measurements at the doctor for his one-year checkup the week following his birthday came in at 19 pounds and 15.7 ounces and 29 inches long, putting him in the 27th percentile for weight and the 17th percentile for height. His head measured 18 inches circumference.

Tommy turned 11 months old this week. Our at home measurements came in at 19 pounds and 6.4 ounces and 29 inches long. We’ll get new percentiles at his one-year doctor’s appointment next month.

Tommy turns 10 months old today, May 11, 2018. His at-home weight and height came in at 19 pounds and 3 ounces and 28¼ inches long. He’ll go back to the doctor for his one-year birthday.

Kicking off the month of May with a beach excursion post seems fitting. It has to be getting a little bit warmer right? Actually, we may not have what most people would consider great beach weather for at least another month or so. But that doesn’t stop us from getting out to the beach in southeast WI.
