Washington D.C. in the Fall

Washington D.C. Area, October 2018 |

Continuing our travel-heavy fall, earlier this month, Tommy and I tagged along with Jake for a conference in National Harbor, Maryland. While not a vacation for Jake, a conference is a nice change of pace from the regular work routine. More of a vacation for me and Tommy, we had three full days to explore the area while Jake was in lectures. He wrapped up each day around 3:00/4:00 p.m., so we had time in the evenings to eat dinner and hang out together.

Mediterranean Cruise: Alhambra, Granada, Spain

Alhambra Reflecting Pool |

After a month’s break, I’m back with my next installment of my Mediterranean cruise tour: the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. Montana 2018

Montana Highlights 2018 |

Earlier this month, Tommy, Jake, and I visited our good friends Aaron and Michal in Great Falls, Montana. Aside from our brief stint in the Wisconsin Dells for Tommy’s birthday, it’s the first vacation the three of us have taken together. We’ve had a couple of little trips for family events with Tommy but no vacations, so this was a much needed trip.

Mediterranean Cruise: Around Barcelona

Barcelona June 2017 |

Today I’m continuing my Mediterranean cruise tour with my final shots of Barcelona. We had two full days in Barcelona. We spent the majority of the first day at the Sagrada Familia, touring both the exterior and interior of the spectacular sculpture. Our longer tour that first day and then our shorter tour the second day covered a few other areas of the city as well. I’m sharing the remainder of my Barcelona shots today. Barcelona is such a fabulous city. We barely scratched the surface during our two days and would love to come back.

Mediterranean Cruise: Sagrada Familia Interior

Barcelona Sagrada Familia Interior |

Today I’m continuing my Mediterranean cruise tour with Barcelona part 2: the interior of the Sagrada Familia. A couple of weeks ago, I shared my Sagrada Familia exterior shots. Now I’m back sharing my interior shots. I simply had too many pictures of this amazing structure to include them all in one post.
