Free printable vintage dragonfly wall art is so whimsical and fun! It makes a great addition to a home, office, classroom, or library.
Layering vintage graphics on vintage papers is an easy way to create one-of-a-kind home decor. For the set of wall art in this post, I used a set of vintage dragonflies from the fabulous DigitalCurio. You’ll find the exact set of vintage dragonflies here. She has a couple of other dragonfly sets as well. Kate has one of the most successful digital shops on Etsy, and it’s not hard to see why. If you use digital papers and clipart regularly, I highly recommend following her shop.
I’ve used a number of vintage pages from existing collections on the blog, including coffee-dyed sheet music, The Great Gatsby, beginner Latin, McGuffey’s Third Eclectic Reader, a vintage travel journal, a dictionary, and a film photography envelope. There are a handful of pages from my personal collection as well. The entire set of full pages (as opposed to the 8×10 versions I created for the wall art printables) is available as a bundle in the VintageDigitalRose shop. Get your vintage papers pack here.
There are 14 wall art pieces in the vintage dragonfly collection. Each piece is 8×10 and features a different dragonfly on a different vintage background. Enjoy!
About the vintage dragonfly wall art
The free printable vintage dragonfly wall art collection is for personal use only. Feel free to download and print the pieces for yourself as many times as you wish. Personal use includes classroom use and gift-giving. Please don’t send the files directly to anyone else. If family, friends, or co-workers are interested in their own printables, please send them a link to this post where they can download the files for themselves. Your support allows me to keep creating free printable sets. Thank you!
I’ve made two versions of each dragonfly printable: one with a border and one without a border. Depending on the frame you select and the aesthetic you prefer for your home decor, you may like one version more than the other.
The previews of the wall art in this post are solely intended for preview purposes. Please use the download links to access the high-resolution, 8×10 versions.

How to print the dragonfly wall art
Printing free printables is a straightforward process. I’m sharing my best tips from personal experience to help you make high-quality prints that are properly sized for your frames.
I share low-resolution previews in this post. They’re intended for sharing on social media, not for printing. To get the high-resolution versions, use the download links. All of the high-resolution download versions are sized for 8×10 printing. Using the download links guarantees that you’ll have high-quality, 8×10-formatted images.
To get a professional finish for your new wall art, I recommend using a reputable print service, such as Shutterfly or Printique, or if you like printing at home, using Finestra Art paper. My current preferred printing service is Printique. I use them for the vast majority of my photos and wall art. I use Finestra Art paper for occasional at-home prints. If you like the look of a thicker paper that creates a darker finish, cardstock is a great option. Regular printer paper will get the job done in a pinch, but the results will just be okay.
For almost all of my home printing, I use a laser printer. I highly recommend this Canon Color ImageCLASS printer for color laser printing. Currently, my pick for a color inkjet printer is the HP ENVY 5055. You won’t find an inkjet printer with better quality or ease of use at this price point.
Again, the complete set of full vintage pages that I used for the dragonfly wall art is available in my shop. They make great home decor on their own and are fantastic layering pieces for art/junk journals, scrapbooks, ornaments, greeting cards, mixed media art, and much more.
