Four background choices
I’ve created each printable elephant nursery decor design on four different backgrounds, which are as follows.
- Dictionary page. You know that I love the aesthetic of vintage dictionary pages and can’t stop creating with them. Each elephant design gets its own dictionary letter page.
- Jesus Loves Me vintage hymn. You know that I’m also crazy about the look of vintage hymns. I created an 8×10 vintage sheet music version of the song Jesus Loves Me just for this post (although you’re likely to see it pop up elsewhere in the future).
- Aqua distressed wood. I’m sure it’s not a secret (just look at my blog) that I love turquoise. This aqua distressed wood background makes me so happy. I love it for a boy or a girl nursery.
- Lightly distressed stone. I finish out the set for each elephant design with a slightly distressed beige stone. I love the subtle texture.

I’ve created two versions of each background: one with no border and one with a white border. Depending on the frame you choose and the aesthetic you want to achieve with your wall art, you may prefer one version over the other.

Printing the free printable elephant nursery decor
You can print your own elephant nursery decor wall art or send it to a printer. If you print it yourself, I highly recommend printing it on Finestra Art Paper for a crisp, vibrant finish. It’s worth spending a little more on good paper to create professional-quality wall art.
You can also send your new elephant nursery decor to a printer. I use SmugMug for the vast majority of my photos and wall art. I love SmugMug, but you shouldn’t feel limited to this option. There are numerous reputable print services, including but not limited to, Shutterfly, FedEx, Costco, Mpix, and Artifact Uprising.
Grab a frame or set of frames for your new decor! My personal favorite frames are the Belmont Frames from Michaels. I own several dozen of them and couldn’t be more happy with the quality and aesthetic. They go on sale all the time. I’m also linking a few of my top frame picks from Amazon.
