Free printable vintage Winnie the Pooh book pages are beautiful literary ephemera for wall decor and DIY projects.
Originally published in 1926, Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne is such a classic set of children’s stories with some of the most whimsical illustrations that you’ll find anywhere. If you’re a long-time Winnie the Pooh fan, most likely you’re familiar with one or more of the stories from the Winnie Pooh collection, many of which are featured in more modern cartoon adaptations. As the original Winnie the Pooh book entered the public domain on January 1, 2022, you’re starting to see the book pages and illustrations available to print and use for an endless variety of projects.
I’m providing 30 full pages from a 1961 edition of the original Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne book. There is a nice mix of pages with small illustrations as well as a handful of text-only pages and six full illustration pages. I’m also providing a set of 12 journal tags featuring Winnie the Pooh illustrations. Enjoy!
How to use vintage book pages
When you’re searching for old book pages, most likely you already know how you’re going to use them. If you’re searching for inspiration or simply want a few more ideas for your new book page printables, consider one or more of the following projects.
- DIY wall art. One of the most popular ways to use antique book pages is to create whimsical wall decor. Winnie the Pooh book pages are especially fitting for nurseries, kids’ bedrooms, classrooms, and libraries, although you shouldn’t feel limited to these options. You can use the book pages as-is or overlay them with text and/or PNGs or transparent background images.
- Greeting cards. I love vintage book pages as backgrounds or decorative elements for greeting cards, especially baby- and kid-themed cards and teacher thank you cards.
- Glass or bottle cap magnets, using the technique that I honed for my sheet music magnets.
- Pendant necklaces, using the above tutorial with bails instead of magnets to create pendant necklaces.
- Tile coasters. Any type of vintage paper works well for my vintage sheet music botanical coasters project. The illustrations in Winnie the Pooh are ideal subjects for tile coasters.
- Christmas ornaments. Winnie the Pooh is a whimsical subject for literary-themed holiday ornaments for your own tree, to give as gifts, and to sell online and at craft fairs.
- Art journals and other mixed media projects. Old book pages are a common material for art/junk journals and other kinds of mixed media art. You can use them as-is or layer them with stamps, ink, paint, and more.
- Scrapbooking. Vintage book pages are perfect for backgrounds and decorative components for physical and digital scrapbooks. They also make wonderful materials for DIY scrapbook embellishments.

Full book pages
I’m offering 30 full book pages from Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne. All of the pages are 2800 x 4325 pixels with 300 dpi resolution. There is an assortment of pages with small illustrations as well as a handful of text-only pages and six full illustration pages.
I’ve split the full book pages into five ZIP folders to give you large files in an easy-to-download format.
Journal tags
I’ve created 12 journal tags featuring Winnie the Pooh bear illustrations from the book pages set. In addition to art/junk journals and scrapbooks, they’re ideal for numerous DIY projects. Each tag measures 2.5″ x 4.2″ (750 x 1250 pixels). I’m offering the 12 journal tags on two 8.5″ x 11″ pages for easy printing.
Please note: It gets confusing having lots of white space in blog post images, which is why I added black outlines around the preview images for the 8.5″ x 11″ pages. The pages you’ll download below don’t have black borders.

Extracting and downloading the full ZIP folders
I’ve created ZIP folders for all of the vintage digital content that I offer in this post. Zipped folders enable me to provide high-resolution files for crisp, vivid printing and to protect those files against potential theft. Extracting and downloading the ZIP folders from Google Drive is a fairly straightforward process. Please note that it does take a little time for each folder to download in full, especially the book page sets.
- When you click on the download link, select the Open with ZIP Extractor option at the top of the page.
- The folder will open in a new window. The files will download.
- Once the files have downloaded, click Extract Now.
- When the files have extracted and uploaded, click View Extracted Files.
- Double click the folder.
- To download, choose the files you’d like to download. Click the three horizontal dots More Actions button. Choose Download.
I recommend moving the downloaded files out of your downloads folder and into your main photos folder. I also recommend making a backup copy of the files on an external hard drive or cloud storage drive. Label your folder “Winnie the Pooh Book Pages” or something similar, so you’ll be able to locate them again easily in the future.

Printing antique book pages
When you use vintage book pages to make unique wall art and other home decor, my personal recommendation for home printing is Finestra Art Paper. I choose Finestra papers time and time again because the acid-free, matte surface dries ink quickly, producing crisp, vibrant text and images. For framed wall art, I prefer the aesthetic that Finestra creates over that of regular printer paper, presentation paper, and card stock.
Finestra has never provided me with free products or any other compensation aside from basic affiliate earnings. I’ve been using Finestra for blog post projects and my own home’s decor for years and am always happy with the results.
For all DIY and art/junk journal projects, I use white card stock. When you’re printing old book pages for mixed media art, greeting cards, and scrapbook embellishments, it’s not as important that the images are really vibrant. When you’re making any sort of craft that involves several coats of Mod Podge or diamond glaze, such as glass magnets, pendant necklaces, or tile coasters, you won’t be able to tell any difference in the finish of the paper you used. As such, card stock is a solid choice because it’s high-quality and very durable while not as expensive as art paper.
